Willow Ridge Plaza is a retail development fronting Route 73 between Commonwealth Drive and Ardsley Drive in Marlton, New Jersey. The shopping center consists of Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Ulta Salon, Annie Sez, Famous Footwear, a 58,500 square foot Genuardi’s Supermarket and a TD Banknorth branch. With its superb location and premier anchor tenants, the shopping center has been a major draw from the start. The powerful combination of high population density and high traffic counts has resulted in exceptional retail sales at the shopping center.
There were myriad challenges encountered in the development of Willow Ridge Plaza. Penn Real Estate Group worked collaboratively with the Township to have the site re-zoned from office to retail use. Prior to Penn Real Estate Group’s involvement, Walmart, Hechingers and Builder’s Square had all failed in attempts to obtain approvals to develop the site. Compounding the situation, this project was the first Genuardi’s store in the state of New Jersey. Penn Real Estate Group successfully negotiated these issues and triumphantly launched Genuardi’s entry into New Jersey. |
